An order was placed yesterday for the largest ever fleet of Roll-Royce Phantom cars in the world.
The collection of 30 extended wheelbase editions, which includes the two most expensive Phantoms ever commissioned, are being acquired by entrepreneur Stephen Hung for his Louis XIII hotel in Macau.
The order was inked yesterday at a signing ceremony at the Home of Rolls‑Royce at Goodwood, England, along with Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes.
“Macau is rapidly evolving into the luxury capital of the world,” said Louis XIII chairman, Stephen Hung.
“We are honoured to have the opportunity to add to Macau’s many distinctions, the world’s largest fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms, including the two most luxurious vehicles Rolls-Royce has ever built,” he added.

The fleet has been customised by the design team at the Goodwood facility, working in tandem with Hung and Louis XIII. Most notably, bespoke clocks have been designed and created for the Phantoms by Graff. And the two most expensive Phantoms will additionally feature external and internal gold-plated accents.
All of the Phantoms will be coated in a blood-red paint, similar to the hue of the Louis XIII Hotel and Casino. The paintjob includes a gold-colored motif along the coachwork.
Rolls-Royce also had a hand in designing the parking and driveways to house the fleet at Louis XIII and will train Louis XIII’s chauffeurs how to best handle the vehicles.
The Phantom fleet will chauffeur the guests of Louis XIII, located on the Cotai Strip in Macau, when it is opened in the first half of 2016.
“The Louis XIII fleet of Phantoms promises to be one of most impressive sights ever seen in Macau when they arrive at the Louis XIII hotel in 2016,” commented Rolls-Royce’s Mueller-Oetvoes.
