A novel treat for art lovers is the introduction of four suites at the Fiermonte Museum in Lecce, Italy. Housing the Fiermontina family’s private art collection, the museum which is owned by Italian-Moroccan siblings, is inspired by their grandmother, artist Antonia Fiermonte, who was married to two sculptors during her lifetime. Post a major renovation and expansion, the museum showcases the intertwined love stories of Antonia Fiermonte and the artists René Letourneur, and Jaques Zwobada.

The four thematic suites offer an immersive experience, and are dedicated to an art form. The Nocturne Suite is music-themed, the Peplum Suite is inspired by cinema, the Avant-Garde Suite is dedicated to painting, and the Marbre Suite is a tribute to sculpture. Each suite is characterised by a dominant colour: lapis lazuli blue in the music-themed Nocturne, Pompeian red in the cinema-inspired Peplum, emerald green in the Avant-Garde Suite, and pistachio in the Marbre Suite – an homage to sculpture. The Fiermontina family-owned collection of hotels and villas includes properties in Italy, France and Morocco.
