The 270-acre grounds of boutique farmhouse Borgo Santo Pietro are home to a collection of treasures: Michelin-starred restaurants, kitchen gardens, a cooking school, an organic farm and a dairy that produces artisan sheep’s milk cheeses, to name a few. But the icing on the gelato is the Santo Pietro Grand Suite, a newly remodelled pad that occupies the entire south wing of the main 13th Century villa, with uninterrupted views across acres of vineyards and the Valle Serena beyond.

Owner Jeanette Thottrup has decorated the suite in dusty blues to reflect the Tuscan skies and warm Mediterranean and commissioned local craftsmen to create bespoke furniture for this exclusive abode. Guests will sink into an enormous four-poster bed each evening, after basking in Tuscan country views from the private outdoor terrace, or soaking in the historic ambiance in front of a new feature fireplace. A night in the Santo Pietro Grand Suite including breakfast and one in-suite dinner starts from US $2,998.
