The Langham Huntington in Pasadena is set to undergo an extensive renovation starting February 2025. Celebrating over a century of history, the landmark property will seamlessly blend its storied heritage with modern sophistication, with 362 reimagined guest rooms and suites, as well as its eight private cottages.

Designed by Richmond International, the refreshed accommodations will feature a serene colour palette, hardwood floors and thoughtfully integrated historical elements. Highlights include oversized, upholstered headboards, evoking romance and timeless elegance.
Dining venues will also receive significant updates. The Terrace will merge old Hollywood glamour with California’s coastal charm, offering a new farm-to-table menu. The Lobby Lounge, famed for its Afternoon Tea, will unveil an elegant redesign, while introducing curated champagne experiences overlooking the iconic Horseshoe Garden.

The Royce Grill will embrace a moody, refined aesthetic, perfect for savouring premium steaks and artisanal dishes in an intimate setting. The Tap Room, meanwhile, will emerge as a vibrant destination for live music and cocktails. The property’s legendary outdoor spaces, including the Horseshoe and Japanese Gardens, will see thoughtful enhancements to enrich their natural beauty. The Lanai Pool, California’s first Olympic-sized outdoor pool, will be restored to its original grandeur, aligning with the glamour of Hollywood’s golden age.
