Three of Asia’s most acclaimed chefs will take to the rails of one of the continent’s most famous train routes for a special dining series. Launching on April 28, Eastern & Oriental Express, A Belmond Train, Southeast Asia will host Tastes of Tomorrow: A Culinary Gathering with Chef André Chiang, showcasing the incredible flavours of the region’s cuisine. Joining Chef Chiang on the final evening of the three-day Wild Malaysia journeys will be Chef Vicky Cheng of restaurant Wing and VEA in Hong Kong; Chef Jason Liu of restaurant LING LONG in Beijing and Shanghai (July 28); and Chef Jungsik Yim of restaurant Jungsik in Seoul and New York (September 8).

Taking place in the elegant dining carriages of Malaya and Adisorn, each chef will serve up their specially curated menu to passengers alongside a bespoke wine pairing as the train rumbles through the moonlit landscapes of Southeast Asia. Once plates have been cleared, Chef Chiang and his guest chef will host a meet-and-greet with diners in the Observation Car against the backdrop of live Malaysian jazz. There will even be cocktails crafted by award-winning guest mixologist Shelly Tai to savour as guests grill the chefs over their creative processes.
