From Marylebone to the Middle East, the ever-popular A.O.K Kitchen has left the bustling locale of London for the first time to set up its first international restaurant in Riyadh. Headed up by Exec Chef Konstantinos Rampias, who has worked at numerous Michelin-star restaurants in the UK capital prior, the menu makes a concerted effort to be free from refined sugar, whilst consciously limiting its dairy and gluten use. Favourite dishes include AOK Rumbled Eggs for breakfast, Grilled Manouri Cheese Sandwich for lunch, wild tiger prawns in spicy chermoula for dinner, and baked mousse with Valrhona manjari 64% chocolate for dessert. The setting is inviting and contemporary, with dark woods, pops of orange and greenery injected via a rather lovely Frangipani tree.
