A new collaboration between Budapest’s Matild Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel, and Wolfgang Puck Fine Dining Group means the much-lauded Austrian chef will now oversee the entire dining operation at the restored palace, including his new restaurant Spago. Born in Austria to a chef mother, Puck started his own formal training at just 14, working in some of France’s greatest restaurants, including Maxim’s in Paris and the Hotel de Paris in Monaco, to the three-Michelin-starred L’Oustau de Baumanière in Provence. He now has over 100 restaurants across his three companies, making his newest home in Budapest transforming Matild Palace into a world-class culinary destination.
