Following a summer residency of iconic Turkish culinary concept KOR Grill & Bar at One&Only Portonovi, the One&Only hotel group is making the relationship more permanent, with an all-new KOR Grill & Bar currently under construction and set to open in 2023 in Turkey.
The restaurant – the concept of which was created by created by world-renowned chefs Mehmet Gürs and Cihan Çetinkaya – took over One&Only Portonovi’s La Veranda over the summer months, bringing traditional Turkish ‘Ocakbasi’ of the streets of Istanbul and South-eastern Anatolia to coasts of Montenegro.
‘Kor’ means cinder in Turkish, referring to how the food is cooked directly over embers, creating a deep, smokey flavour, with the menu featuring mezze, salads, grilled meats and seafood, all designed to be shared with love.
For now, you can still enjoy KOR’s gastronomy at One&Only Portonovi while the restaurant finishes its residency, and then we’ll see you in Turkey!
