Setting sail for the first time in September 2024, the new voyages will range from 10 to 20 days and explore some of China’s major cities including Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong, as well as other famous destinations such as UNESCO World Heritage Site, Gulangyu Island in Xiamen, UNESCO city of design, Shenzhen, the Buddhist shrines of Zhoushan and the cliffs of Dongtou. Expect to be immersed in the history, and culture of China through insightful lectures, Chinese-inspired cuisine, destination experts, and meeting local families.

On board, the Viking Yi Dun – which will be the first ship dedicated specifically to the foreign market to operate domestic sailings in China – has the capacity to host up to 930 guests across 465 staterooms, showcasing Scandinavian design and all with a veranda for exceptional sea panoramas.
