Opening in 2026 Mandarin Oriental’s third Vietnamese property will be located in the Phu Yen province – one of Vietnam’s coastal regions of outstanding natural beauty. Mandarin Oriental, Bai Nom will sit on an expansive 800-metre beach, surrounded by raised plateaus with stunning coastline and ocean views. The resort’s exclusive location and distinctive design will provide a perfect backdrop for a wide variety of personalised experiences, encompassing wellness retreats, cultural exploration, and family-focused activities. The architecture and design will focus on natural Vietnamese elements and local cultural references. 72 suites and villas, including 25 Residences at Mandarin Oriental, will spread out across the 29-hectare site. Accommodations will be either located directly on the beach or dotted through the hills featuring private terraces and pools. The branded residences will house three to five guestrooms with private gardens, pools and terraces. Three restaurants and bars will offer panoramic views of the surrounding nature. A broad range of activities will be on offer at the resort, including water sports, tennis, padel, outdoor adventure and local excursions to private coves, dive sites and hiking locations. A Kids Club with a dedicated swimming pool will be complemented by an activity centre offering outdoor adventure spaces. The spa will sit on the resort’s cliff-top, providing 360-degree views to guests as they partake in wellness therapies and treatments.
