As the world’s most prestigious football competition wraps up in Brazil, we look beyond Russia’s tournament to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, which – if all goes to plan – promises to be the most impressive yet. As the first World Cup ever held in the Middle East, Qatar is sparing no expense on its planned stadiums, many of which are in the late stages of design or early development.
