Cavalli Club Dubai is celebrating with a brand new and Italian-designed robotic bartender. Makr Shakr is an automated cocktail-maker, the world’s most advanced drink-mixing robot, and the very first of its kind in the region. Combining the finest Italian craftsmanship with high-end technology, the robotic bar uses two mechanical arms that can shake, stir and serve drinks in seconds, managing a 158 bottles of different drinks and an infinite number of drink combinations.
Showing how technology can empower people and create a new drinking experience, Makr Shakr works via the simple process: you pay for the drink at the bar and receive a voucher, you input the drink you want on iPads, confirming the ticket number and the robot starts making your drink.
The new robotic bar is part of a massive revamp of the Dubai CAvalli Club, following the reveal of its new bar earlier this year - complete with 700,000 Swarovski crystals, AED1 million in gold fixtures, 12m-long hydraulic-lift catwalk and a -18 degrees Celsius ice bar.
