The world’s highest prayer room has opened at the Address Jabal Omar Makkah.

Sitting some 179 metres above the ground, Sky Mussallah accommodates 520 people over its 550 square metres that spans the hotel’s twin towers on the 36th, 37th and 38th floors. Located in the interconnecting bridge between the property’s towers, the prayer room offers unimpeded views of the Holy Kaaba, as well as a bird’s eye view of the Masjid al-Haram.

Interiors see Arabic calligraphy found throughout, telling a different story about the “Names of God in Islam”, such as Al-Muqaddim (The Advancer), and Al-Mani (The Shielder and Protector).

Inducted into the record books for ‘Highest Prayer Room Within a Skybridge’, Sky Mussallah is the latest new opening for the Address Jabal Omar Makkah which launched in July 2023.

“This remarkable stride is a symbol of our steadfast commitment to offering unrivalled experiences for pilgrims and travellers,” says Khalid Al Amoudi, the CEO of Jabal Omar Development Company. “With its prime location centring the hotel’s twin towers, the Sky Mussallah is truly breathtaking and is a must-visit sight for everyone passing through the city.”
