The six-deck vessel was designed entirely by Sam Sorgiovanni and delivered by Dutch boat builders Oceanco. There’s plenty of deck space to soak up the sun, and more than one pool on board.

The pool on the aft deck can be converted into a wading pool for kids or converted completely into extra floor space. Combined with the open plan connecting saloon, the space is ideal for parties – there’s even a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system to help set the mood.

The yacht’s design is inspired by nature. Moving from the back to the front, a beach-inspired design morphs into a tranquil rainforest setting. Silk carpets emulate the feeling of walking on a mossy rainforest floor, while carved bamboo floors and a moody green and brown colour scheme drives the theme home.

The main indoor living space is also a reptile house of sorts, with iguanas, water dragons and turtles adding to the ‘forest’ feel.

No expense has been spared on any room – woven timber ceilings can be found in the owner’s cabin (which also boasts an impressive ‘sunroof’), while each en suite bathroom is decked out with white onyx walls. Specially sourced Balinese art decorates shelves, walls, enclaves and even the stairwell.

While Nirvana also has a fully equipped gym and plenty of water toys (including two decent sized tenders, jet skis and paddleboards), if you prefer to stay fairly inactive, you can spend time in the sauna, enjoy a massage in the special treatment rooms or sit back and soak up some rays on one of the many sundecks.

The onboard cinema is popular with young travellers (though we’re told the current owner spends quite a bit of time here, too). If you’ve a movie marathon in mind, the popcorn machine has the snacks covered.

Of course, nothing better displays opulence than a superyacht with its own helicopter, broadening the scope for exploring while on charter.

The boat will be on show for the duration of the Dubai International Yacht show (March 4-8) with the sale overseen by Edmiston Yachts.
