Designed to explore different dimensions of wellbeing through the lens of Balinese philosophy, Four Seasons Resorts Bali has introduced two new three-night wellness retreats. The Sekala Wellness Retreat at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay and the Niskala Wellness Retreat at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Sayan offer distinct yet complementary approaches—focusing on the physical and the energetic, respectively.

Sekala centres on tangible, body-based practices. Guests begin with a 3D body scan and personalised movement analysis, followed by sessions in pilates, anti-gravity yoga and contrast therapy in the resort’s Longevity Garden. Treatments include a Balinese massage or a Complete Body Alignment session, designed to address posture, mobility and musculoskeletal balance.

Niskala, by contrast, explores the unseen or spiritual realm. Rooted in traditional rituals and energy work, the retreat includes the Restu Bumi (Blessing of the Earth) ritual, private yoga and a Chakra Ceremony. Guests also experience Pulih Batin therapy, designed to support emotional restoration, and the Sacred Nap, a guided meditation performed on aerial silk hammocks.

Guests can also combine the two for a six-night experience, transitioning from the physical grounding of Jimbaran Bay to the spiritual introspection of Sayan. Each retreat includes wellness consultations, daily breakfast and tailored treatments, allowing guests to engage deeply with both aspects of Balinese wellbeing.
