Founded by Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper in 2013, Nobu Hospitality has established itself as a major player on the global stage in the last nine years, rapidly expanding to a portfolio of 30 hotels in less than a decade. The latest project is a hotel, restaurant and residences 45 minutes outside the Riviera Maya beach town of Tulum.
Created in partnership with long-term partner RCD Hotels, Nobu Hotel Tulum will feature 200 guestrooms (including 12 villas) and 50 separate beachside residences, as well as a fitness centre and spa. Guests and locals alike will find tantalising Nobu cuisine at the beachfront restaurant, while expansive indoor and outdoor spaces will provide a blank canvas for wedding and event planners.
RCD Hotels is the owner-developer of existing Nobu projects in Miami Beach, Los Cabos and Chicago, and upcoming properties are currently taking shape in Punta Cana and Orlando.
