Four Seasons will invite you to feel the ‘Bern’ in Switzerland, having been appointed to manage The Park Gstaad Hotel — an iconic property in the alpine Bernese Oberland region. Following extensive renovations, the hotel will reopen for the 2026-2027 winter season as The Park Gstaad, A Four Seasons Hotel, blending its rich heritage with the brand’s globally renowned service.

Opened in 1910 as Gstaad’s first five-star hotel, The Park Gstaad has long been a symbol of alpine luxury. The property, owned by philanthropist and investor Dona Bertarelli, is undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment led by Squircle Capital and acclaimed interior designer Joseph Dirand. The redesign promises to marry modern elegance with the timeless charm of its alpine surroundings.

The renovated hotel will feature 75 rooms and suites, including luxury penthouse residences available for purchase. Guests can look forward to new dining concepts, a destination spa and facilities such as indoor and outdoor pools, a fitness centre, meeting spaces, and an ice rink for the winter season.

Situated within walking distance of Gstaad’s boutiques and gourmet restaurants, the hotel also offers convenient access to 220km of ski slopes in winter and hiking, biking and golf in summer.

“The Park Gstaad holds a special place in the region’s heritage,” said owner and entrepreneur Dona Bertarelli. “Its transformation into a Four Seasons experience will seamlessly blend its legacy with modern sophistication.”
