When the 234-room St. Regis Dubai debuted late last year, it arrived with 52 luxurious suites – but the Beaux-Arts manor-esque property was not entirely complete. The striking property has now lifted the lid on its Imperial Suite, which spans 913 square metres on the hotel’s top two floors. For perspective, that’s a greater area than the hotel’s Astor Ballroom – and a whole lot more exclusive.

The three bedroom suite features a huge living room, a formal 12-seater dining room, a study, lounge area and a spacious Arab-style majlis which could be used for either business or pleasure. The master bedroom is connected to a larged bathroom with a free-standing bathtub in the centre and adjoining separate male and female walk-in dressing rooms. And the additional two bedrooms consist of one king bed and one twin-bed, each with their own double vanity bathrooms. The suite’s pièce de résistance, according to the hotel, is the in-room spiral staircase that leads into the central dome of the hotel, where there’s a rooftop plunge pool and another majlis area with panoramic views of the gardens.

"We are excited to launch this exclusive residential style suite, the crown jewel of our strong suite offering,” said hotel manager Faiek El Saadani. “With our high suite to room ratio, where each offers the comforts of a home-away-from-home and our signature St. Regis Butler Service, we are well positioned to cater to the modern day luxury traveller, differentiating ourselves competition.”

The hotel’s other top suites include two Royal Suite and four Grand Suite, where both categories feature dedicated in-room spa facilities, adding to the luxury experience. The Royal Suites, each measure 358-square-metres and include a majlis style lounge, study spaces, a living room separate to the eight-seater dining room and a bar area, as well as a large bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The hotel also has the region’s first custom-designed one-bedroom Bentley Suite, inspired by the bespoke craftsmanship of the Bentley Mulsanne – similar to the Bentley Suite at The St. Regis Istanbul. Other noteworthy suites include two Caroline Astor Suites, named to
honour the celebrated "grand dame" of St. Regis and mother of founder
John Jacob Astor IV.
