It’s time to have your ‘fun coupons’ at the ready (and a lot of them) as the Lamborghini Hero Car from The Wolf of Wall Street will go on public auction in Abu Dhabi.

Yes, the famous 1989 Lamborghini Countach that Leonardo DiCaprio wrecked portraying the life of stockbroker Jordan Belfort in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-nominated movie, will be up for grabs for the first time at this year’s FORMULA 1 ETIHAD AIRWAYS ABU DHABI GRAND PRIX.
Estimated to go for a cool $1.5-2 million (AED55-73million) the sportscar will be presented in ‘as filmed’ condition with all the dents and damages caused by DiCarprio at On the Grid: The Abu Dhabi Auction at Yas Marina Circuit on November 25.

Finished in sleek Bianco Polo over Bianco and complete with scissor doors, the Hero Car is one of just 658 25th Anniversary editions ever produced and is present in the 2013 blockbuster for approximately three minutes and 11 seconds; most notably the infamous driving home sequence where DiCarprio collides with several vehicles and objects on his way home.

But the collector’s items don’t stop there for movie buffs, as the car will come complete with a Jordan Belfort costume, director’s chair and clapboard, both signed by Scorsese, DiCaprio, and Margot Robbie, two exclusive crew hoodies, two DVDs of the film, and letters of authenticity from key members of the filmmaking team.
