Car enthusiasts get your engines revving because you will need to be quick off the mark as the world’s fastest car is up for grabs.

Hitting speeds of more than 300mph, the 2022 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ will be going on public sale for the first time at The Scottsdale Auction by Bonhams|Cars on January 25; one of only 30 models ever produced.

Expected to fetch between $5,000,000 and $5,500,000, the vehicle enjoys sleek, aero-efficient bodywork alongside Bugatti’s signature styling and colour scheme of orange and black.

“This is the quintessence of hypercars. Bugatti has an unparalleled reputation in high performance vehicles and the Chiron Super Sport 300+ is a symbol of that automotive excellence,” says Louis Frankel, Bonhams|Cars Specialist. “We look forward to witnessing the surge of excitement and attention this will undoubtedly achieve when we showcase it at our Scottsdale Auction.”

Prefer older models? Vintage car connoisseurs will have plenty to cast their eyes on with a collection of classic cars also on display. Think a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Convertible Sedan, formerly owned by Her Majesty Queen Maria of Yugoslavia which will be offered at an estimate of $2-3 million; a 1930 Cadillac V-16 Roadster restored in its original colours, valued at $1-$1.2 million; and a 1936 Packard Model 1407 Twelve Coupe Roadster, expected to garner between $325,000 and $375,000.

There will even be a special section of the sale from rare and vintage motorcars specialists, the Maine Classic Car Museum who will showcase a 27-car collection including a 1962 Mercedes-Benz 190SL Cabriolet that is on offer without reserve and estimated to be worth $140,000-160,000.
