French luxury sailing company Ponant has unveiled its 2025 itineraries for co-branded sailings with Smithsonian Journeys. This will mark the fourth year of co-branded sailings and comprises 30 itineraries, the most ever offered in one year. The new itineraries include a two-week voyage from Lisbon to the Canary Islands and a Mediterranean sailing visiting Sicily, Sardinia and Mallorca, while a newly enhanced itinerary on board Le Champlain, offers a circumnavigation of Sicily with a new stop in Tunisia to explore the archaeological site of Carthage.

Ponant and Smithsonian Journeys will also bring back voyage-favourites including a seven-night itinerary from Panama to Costa Rica; an eight-day exploration of the Greek Islands in the Southern Aegean; and a Mediterranean Island voyage spanning Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica and Elba. All voyages will provide opportunities to engage with a variety of Smithsonian Journeys experts, ranging from geologists to museum curators and archaeologists, who will help guests delve deeper into a destination’s history, cuisine, language, environment and wildlife.
