Something of an insitution now, Hotel Eden Rome has re-inaugurated its Piccolo Cinema Eden, curated by Chez Dédé. Twice-weekly until March 27, 2022, and coinciding with the 94th annual Academy Awards in Hollywood, the Hotel Eden’s elegant La Libreria will be transformed into an intimate 26-sea cinema showing classic films rooted in Rome, such as The Great Beauty, Roman Holiday, and Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow. Each viewing will take place on Wednesdays and Sundays – the days traditionally dedicated to cinemas.
Guests can settle back in the cinematic theatre modelled on the past – an intimate and nostalgic space filled with comfortable sofas, huge velvet curtains and ‘ushers’ in bespoke uniforms created especially for the occasion. Light snacks are on tap, along with a mini bottle of Moët & Chandon Champagne, or you can book a pre-movie brunch ahead of your screening. There are few better ways to experience the magic of Hollywood - both old and new.
