Is there anything more exciting than the unveiling of a refreshed look and menu at one of our favourite restaurants? The award-winning Porterhouse Bar & Grill has reopened its doors to the gastronomes of Dubai this month to reveal a stunning transformation, and everyone is invited to delve in.
Looking resplendent from its prime location in the luxurious Sofitel Dubai The Palm, the steakhouse radiates sophistication, seamlessly blending contemporary designs with chic décor. Upon entering, guests will be greeted with stylish surroundings that have been elevated with a collection of thoughtfully selected furnishings and soft lighting that creates an upscale yet cosy and inviting ambience, perfect for an intimate evening.
Complementing the elegant, new interiors is the wonderful new offering, the Nose-to-Tail degustation menu. Spotlighting a selection of exciting signature dishes, the new menu celebrates the versatility and deliciousness of every part of the animal, with a strong emphasis on zero waste and sustainable practices. From AED 399 ($109), gourmands can savour creative dishes like Porterhouse butchers’ salad with caramelised tongue, braised oxtail puff, white asparagus velouté, winter black truffle and liver pâté with balsamic reduction and toasted brioche.
Those with carnivorous cravings will be satiated, thanks to the culinary team’s revitalisation of the venue’s premium cuts servings with the Unexpected Classics menu. Guests will be able to cast their eyes on exceptional prime cuts like the Australian Westholme Wagyu striploin (MB 5 260g), purebred striploin (MB 9+ 200g), tenderloin (MB 5 200g) and USDA prime Omaha 120 days grain fed tenderloin (300g), all cooked to their preference.
But this food card is not just about steaks. There will be a dish for every palate with exquisite grilled Canadian lobster, flavourful mushroom mille feuille and Italian classic, veal Milanese, just some of the tantalising dishes on the menu just waiting to be savoured. Completing this delicious array of plates is a plethora of the restaurant’s favourites dishes including pan-seared foie gras, Wagyu beef tartare home-cured salmon balik style and Dibba Bay fresh UAE oysters.
And when it’s time for a nightcap, guests are welcomed to place themselves in the warm surroundings of the bar, where they can unwind with classic and innovative cocktails while soaking up the dreamy sunset views over Palm Jumeirah.
