After a summer hiatus, Pan-American restaurant ZOCO will reopen its doors to the world once again on Monday 16th September
Set on the seventh floor of V Hotel Dubai, Curio Collection by Hilton in Al Habtoor City, the eclectic eatery helmed by Peruvian chef Gustavo Barnachea treats gastronomes to a smorgasbord of fiery and flavourful plates from across the Americas.
Bestowed with some of the best panoramas that guests can find in Dubai, expect gentle natural woods, tonnes of kaleidoscopic portraits and superb live and music tropical house beats from the DJ booth from Tuesday to Saturday.
Open seven days-a-week from 5pm to 1am, emphasis is all about sharing with a plethora of authentic dishes. Perfect for dining as a couple or a post work-hang, begin your culinary journey around Pan-America with freshly made guacamole, zingy citrus ceviche and tuna tartare for starters before tucking into the hot plates of beef short ribs, fluffy bao, crispy calamari and chicken teriyaki skewers.
When it’s time for mains, tempt yourself to Mexican style tacos, filled with chicken adobo, Peruvian chifa duck fried rice and sticky beef with udon. Or give into your carnivorous cravings and choose the ‘Black Onyx’, a black angus rib-eye with confit garlic and grilled vine tomatoes. But be warned, you will need to team up to tackle this sumptuous cut of meat. Remember to save room for dessert with elevated ‘Quatro Leches’ cake, churros and cheesecake.
Don’t miss the opportunity to sample some exquisite signature cocktails as well. Sip on concoctions crafted using Pan-American spirits including Espuma De Mezcal, Empresa Cubana and Cilantro Paloma. There’s also pitchers of Sangria and Margarita for those who wish to share.
If you enjoy a themed night, there’s plenty of promotions to enjoy. Thursdays are all about the ladies with Salsa Y Señoritas. Gather your gals and take to the dancefloor for the sounds of salsa while indulging in a three-course set menu and unlimited house beverage for AED 180 for two hours. Gents can get in on the action by enjoying the same offer for AED 250.
On Saturdays, immerse yourself in Pisco Rhythms and a chef’s selection of cold and raw appetisers accompanied by unlimited Piscos for two hours. Or simply call in any day between 5pm and 7pm and take advantage of the daily happy hour, where guests can sip on selected house drinks and cocktails from AED 35 and help themselves to a 25 per cent saving on dining.
