Koenigshof, A Luxury Collection Hotel marks the brand’s debut in Germany. Situated in the heart of Munich’s Stachus Square, the property is designed by Nieto Sobejano Architects and Landau + Kindelbacher to embody the city’s rich culture and honour the historic building’s heritage. Through the implementation of louvered structures and large, gold-coloured walls, the architectural approach was to open the facade towards Stachus Square and establish a connection between the interior and exterior. The hotel comprises of 106 guestrooms and suites, featuring dark wood-panelled walls, neutral-toned fabrics and views of the city through floor-to-ceiling windows.

Koenigshof’s crowning jewel is the 250 square-metre split-level Presidential Suite – the largest hotel suite in the city, boasting a private sauna and a pool with breathtaking views. Art is a key element of the hotel’s design scheme, reflecting the former Bavarian ruling family’s penchant for art in the 16th century. Guestrooms feature touches of local charm including welcome cards illustrated by Munich designer Alexandra von Frankenberg, a custom Koenigshof fragrance and a bespoke Munich Serenity tea made in collaboration with Samova Tea. Koenigshof is home to three dining destinations, including signature Latin American restaurant, Greta Oto Munich, with an adjacent bar and rooftop terrace.
