Having planted roots in destinations across Mexico, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts is set to make its debut in the Mexican capital in 2024 in the upscale Polanco neighbourhood. Rosewood Mexico City will be situated in the tallest new tower in Antara, a mixed-use complex of offices, luxury shops and high-end dining that’s currently being expanded by owner Grupo Sordo Madaleno. Designed by the group’s architectural division, Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos – which is also working on the spectacular new SHA Mexico Development in Quintana Roo, the upcoming Chablé Sea of Cortes in Baja California and Park Hyatt Mexico City – Rosewood Mexico City will feature 133 guestrooms and suites, four dining venues and an Asaya spa with two swimming pools. By the time it opens in 2024, Rosewood Mexico City will be the brand’s fifth outpost in Mexico, following the opening of Rosewood Mandarina on the Riviera Nayarit in 2023. The new properties will join the existing Rosewood hotels in Los Cabos, the Riviera Maya and San Miguel de Allende.
