Hyatt has announced plans to expand its presence across the Middle East, Europe, and Africa, with new hotels set to open in 13 new destinations. The expansion will take place between 2025 and 2028, adding to Hyatt’s growing portfolio across the region.
Saudi Arabia seems like a key market for the company, with new openings planned in AlUla and Magna, NEOM’s coastal destination. By 2030, Hyatt aims to triple its hotel room count in the country, with new properties including Hyatt Place AlUla, Grand Hyatt The Red Sea and Miraval The Red Sea, the latter marking the wellness brand’s international debut.
Beyond the Middle East, Hyatt will also introduce properties in Estonia, Iceland, Romania, Cape Verde and Mauritius, reinforcing its focus on luxury, lifestyle and all-inclusive hospitality. Other openings in the pipeline include Park Hyatt Johannesburg and Andaz Doha, all part of Hyatt’s plan to add 50 new hotels worldwide by 2026.
