Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has unveiled plans to manage a new luxury hotel in Suzhou, China, scheduled to open in 2026. This development will enhance the group’s presence in the Yangtze River Delta, complementing existing properties in Shanghai and upcoming openings in Hangzhou and Nanjing.

Mandarin Oriental, Suzhou will be situated on the east bank of Jinji Lake, offering panoramic views of the city’s architectural skyline. Designed as a low-rise urban resort, the hotel will feature 146 elegantly crafted guestrooms and suites, many with balconies overlooking the lake.

Guests can enjoy diverse dining options including three restaurants, a lounge, bar and cakeshop, with al fresco settings amidst landscaped gardens. The property will also offer extensive spa and wellness facilities, a fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and significant meeting and event spaces.
