Hilton Worldwide today announced the Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah. The facility sits upon the iconic island with a full view of the Arabian Gulf and many of the Emirate’s famous landmarks.
The 319-room hotel is the luxury hotelier’s follow up to their Ras Al Khaimah development, which opened August 2013, and a response to Dubai’s booming tourist trade, according to John TA Vanderslice, global head of luxury and lifestyle brands at Hilton Worldwide.
“Waldorf Astoria’s celebrated lineage combined with the brand’s definition of luxury is enjoyed by discerning global luxury travellers worldwide,” he said in a statement.
“The increasing number of international arrivals into Dubai and the growing aspiration of visitors to explore the Emirate’s iconic island has created a demand which we can readily satisfy with the opening of Waldorf Astoria Dubai Palm Jumeirah,” he continued.
Positioned on the East Crescent of the Palm Jumeirah, the hotel boasts the expected wealth of services and amenities. Guests have a choice of six restaurants and bars, offering a range of cuisine and drinks. The culinary standout is the New York inspired SOCIAL by Heinz Beck, an eatery stylised by Beck himself – the multi-award winning master of gastronomy, European chef and author.
