Karl Lagerfeld unveiled his new fall/winter range in the Chanel Shopping Center at Paris Fashion Week

The Chanel head designer invited a cast of celebs and supermodels down a supermarket aisle to debut his Fall/Winter 2014-2015 women's ready-to-wear collection

The spoof mart was an interesting alternative to the traditional glitzy affair

Front-row seats were replaced with Chanel-branded pasta, detergent and other mundane household supplies – created just for the stunt

Chanel-branded coffee cans and lait de coco (coconut milk) and many other items were picked up from the aisle by models

Many of the items on display were pledged to be given to charity
