The cowboy boot is one of those rare items that transcend the worlds of fashion and functionality, taking on an identity of its own as a symbol of southern America culture. From the deserts of New Mexico and the ranches of Texas to the catwalks of Europe, the cowboy boot is ubiquitous and timeless.

Celebrating the humble boot and the Texan culture with which it is so closely associated, Rosewood Mansion at Turtle Creek has teamed up with local bootmaker Miron Crosby to offer a once-in-a-lifetime experience combining fashion, history and heritage. During a three-night stay at the Dallas hotel, guests will travel by private jet to experience some of the state’s most iconic institutions, including a VIP tour of contemporary art museum Chinati Foundation in the town of Marfa, a tour and fitting at Rios of Mercedes boot factory, and an overnight stay at the cattle ranch owned by Miron Crosby founders, Lizzie Means Duplantis and Sarah Means.

The sisters will also assist guests in designing their own Miron Crosby cowboy boot at the company’s Highland Park Village boutique, leaving them with the perfect souvenir from a genuinely Texan experience. The Bigger ’n’ Texas experience, part of Rosewood’s exclusive Limited Edition luxury experiences programme, starts from US $197,600.

Elsewhere, Rosewood guests with generous budgets can cruise on a mega-yacht and dive the clear waters of the Caribbean in search of their own Ulysse Nardin Diver 42mm watch accompanied by a photographer and videographer while staying at Rosewood Baha Mar; design their own luggage line with Métier London creative director Melissa Morris at Rosewood London; or customise their own vintage Jaguar E-Type at Hotel de Crillon in Paris.
