Planning to go Down Under this winter? Get the southern city of Adelaide on your radar as Emirates has announced the relaunch of its direct service to Adelaide Airport from Dubai.
Taking off on October 28, 2024, the airline will operate seven weekly flights, departing Dubai International Airport at 2am and arriving in Adelaide at 8.50pm (local time).

The return journey will leave South Australia at 10.35pm and land in Dubai at 5.15am the following day.
The reactivation of the flight route will see Emirates services to Australia return to pre-pandemic levels with weekly flights to Brisbane, Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne. Currently, the airline offers 63 flights between Australia and Dubai with that number expected to increase by 14 on December 1 with the re-introduction of the Adelaide service and a second daily operation to Perth.

And Emirates First Class passengers who are flying out of the airline’s Australian ports, will be able to sample a taste of Oz onboard with Penfolds RWT Shiraz sourced from Barossa Valley, a renowned wine-producing region northeast of Adelaide, being served during flights.
