2024 looks set to be an exciting one for regular guests of luxury properties like Banyan Tree AlUla, Garrya in Kyoto, Japan, and Banyan Tree Dubai as there will be another 19 Banyan Group properties for you to enjoy.
With some 75 hotels and resorts, more than 60 spas and 14 residences across 22 countries, fans of the Banyan Group who rebranded last week, dropping the ‘Tree’, can look forward to new locations in Cambodia, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, and Mexico over the next 12 months.
While opening dates for the properties are yet to be confirmed, the Banyan Group did reveal that it would make its debut in Cambodia with Angsana Siem Reap with the Banyan Tree brand opening its first hotels in Japan, and in Mexico with the Banyan Tree Higashiyama Kyoto and Banyan Tree Veya Valle de Guadalupe respectively. Vietnam will welcome Angsana Quan Lan in Halong Bay and Garrya Mu Chang Chai with South Korea will be home to new Cassia and Homm Sokcho.
China will see the biggest influx of Banyan Group properties with the city of Suzhou featuring two complexes – the first in Shishan, will include Banyan Tree and Angsana, while the second by Yangcheng Lake, will include Banyan Tree and Garrya. There will also be an Angsana Tengchong, the group’s fifth property in the Yunnan province.

But it’s not only hotels and residences that are in the Banyan Group plans for 2024. Laguna Lakelands in Phuket, Thailand will see the group launch a rainforest park, more than 10km of treetop skywalks and five immersive living zones of orchard, lakeside, lagoon, valley, and forest.
