Bringing together the worlds of supercars and superstar chefs, Michelin-star chef Massimo Bottura and his wife Lara Gilmore have launched a Food For Soul initiative with Maserati to help fight against global food waste, social isolation and build healthier and more equitable food systems.
The Italian chef’s Bread is Gold book - which also supports the food waste cause - is the first book that takes a holistic look at the ever-important subject of food waste, enabling its readers to conjure up extraordinary meals from ordinary and sometimes ‘wasted’ ingredients.

And so, to celebrate, Italian super-car brand Maserati has collaborated to create an exclusive gift box dedicated to a selected number of VIP customers and friends of the brand, with the aim to spread the meaningful message through the Maserati community and teach them how to prepare Massimo’s revolutionary dishes that will hopefully change the way we feed the world.
The box includes a copy of Bread is Gold, which includes a zero-waste recipe of the three-Michelin-star chef’s Fusilli breadcrumb pesto pasta - a dish rooted in Italian history and culture, but reinterpreted with a creative and sustainable twist.
Definitely food for the thought - and the soul.
