Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced plans to open its first Caribbean property on Cave Cay, a private island in the Bahamas, with a luxury resort and branded mansions set to debut in 2029. This marks the latest expansion of the high-end hotel collection, which currently includes properties in Milan, London, Bali, Dubai, Shanghai, Beijing, Paris, Tokyo and Rome, with upcoming openings in the Maldives, Miami Beach and Bodrum between 2026 and 2027.
The Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Cave Cay will feature 64 oceanfront suites and villas, along with 48 branded private mansions available for purchase. Set on a 220-acre island in the Exumas, the development is designed to blend luxury with the island’s natural beauty, offering guests access to white-sand beaches, hidden caves and panoramic views of the Caribbean and Atlantic.
The resort’s amenities will include an extensive spa and wellness centre, a sports enclave, a kids’ club and a fully equipped marina. Dining options will feature the Bvlgari Bar and Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, curated by the three-Michelin-starred chef. The marina will also serve as a launch point for water sports and private island excursions.
