Breakfast
Sydney’s food scene has really grown over the past few years; there are always new places popping up that I’m keen to try so it’s hard to single out one particular place. One place I always go back to is Three Blue Ducks in Bronte, located on a hill overlooking the beach.

Coffee stop
Sydneysiders really embrace their coffee and there are plenty of places to go for a good cup. My local favourite is TopHat Coffee Merchants in Clovelly — they do a great morning brew and I can’t start my day without it.

Lunch
People often tell me that my restaurant Chiswick in Woollahra is one of their favourite lunch spots, which is always so nice and humbling to hear. The most popular item on the menu is Moran Family Lamb, which is wood-roasted and served with eggplant, tomato and mint. It’s become a bit of a signature dish.

Dinner
I’m always keen to get to Billy Kwong in Potts Point but if you can’t get in there (it is usually crowded), I’d try Cho Cho San across the road — the green tea soft serves are their signature dessert, but in terms of a main course, I’m a fan of the braised pork belly.

Authentic Australian
Because Australia is so multicultural, the country’s dining scene is reflective of that. We have a huge array of options, but in terms of authentic Australian foods there are things like kangaroo tail on menus. For me, I can’t go past some oysters, barbecued king prawns or a slow-roasted lamb shoulder — they are all quintessentially Australian. There are plenty of great venues all around Sydney, particularly in beachside suburbs where you can try them.
Night moves
Opera Bar is truly in one of the best waterside locations in Australia, right by the Opera House overlooking Sydney Harbour and the Bridge. Another great option, particularly for afternoon drinks, is Icebergs Bar and Dining, which overlooks iconic Bondi Beach.
