Imagine the idea of having your own island resort all to yourself. Restaurant reservations? No need. Early rising for a sunbed at the pool? Hit snooze on the alarm clock. Noisy neighbours? They simply don’t exist.
You need daydream no more, as Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora has launched a new buyout package that gifts you – and any lucky friends and family you invite – exclusive access to the entire resort and island. That means 108 one- and two-bedroom overwater bungalow suites; 27 with private plunge pools; and seven two-and three-bedroom beachfront villa estates are all yours for you and your 245 guests for seven nights.

When it comes to dining, you’ve got the run of the island, naturally. You can choose from four open-air restaurants, designed by Executive Chef Sebastien Fontes: Indulge in Mediterranean bites at Arii Moana, grilled favourites at Faré Hoa Beach Bar & Grill, breakfast overlooking Mount Otemanu at Tere Nui before tucking into Asian plates and sunsets at Vaimiti. And for drinks, you can sip some of the finest wines hand-picked by Head Sommelier Aude Vaillard and cocktails created by Head Mixologist Romain D’Antuono.

If you need a little space to unwind, head to the cathedral-esque Te Mahana Spa as you receive transformative wellness treatments, or increase the tempo with some recreational pursuits, such as Lagoon Sanctuary exploration with WiseOceans marine biologists or scuba diving with DIVEASY instructors. You can even immerse yourself in some cultural classes led by Cultural Ambassador Samuel Fiu and other local experts. And the best part is that there are no waiting times or queues.

And if your own resort isn’t enough, you can enjoy private and chartered international and domestic air, helicopter excursions, and headline entertainment for an extra cost.

And the price is… a cool €2.5 million (Dhs10,044,557) for seven nights and booking is subject to availability.

“There is nothing more exclusive than a complete island buyout and no destination as special as French Polynesia, rich in culture and tradition,” says General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora Romain Chanet. “For guests looking to treat their special group to the ultimate and most private experience in paradise, all executed with renowned Four Seasons service and warmth – this is absolutely it.”
