Anantara’s first property in Sichuan province is scheduled to open later this year, located approximately an hour’s drive from Chengdu. Far from the bustle of the city, the resort is nestled amidst the natural beauty of Xiling Snow Mountain and the ancient Huashuiwan hot springs.
Expect 111 luxurious guest rooms and suites, ranging from 50 to 500 square metres, each designed to offer panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Incorporating piped hot spring water, the accommodations provide a serene retreat for guests. The interiors, crafted by the global hospitality design firm Cheng Chung Design (CCD), will blend contemporary aesthetics with local cultural elements, creating a harmonious connection with the environment.
Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Chengdu Resort will offer a range of amenities, including a swimming pool, Anantara Spa, wellness centre and an entertainment centre. The resort’s location provides easy access to world-class skiing at Xiling Snow Mountain and the renowned Giant Panda Reserve, situated just 20 minutes away.
This development aligns with Minor Hotels’ strategic expansion in China, aiming to introduce more than 200 hotels by the end of 2026. The addition of Anantara Xiling Snow Mountain Chengdu Resort is set to enrich Southwest China’s tourism landscape, offering high-end skiing and wellness experiences that cater to both domestic and international travellers.
