Nestled in the Shan Hills of central Myanmar, Inle Lake is a soothing escape, far from the noise and pollution of Asia’s bustling cities. To help guests switch off and dedicate themselves to inner and outer wellbeing, Sofitel Inle Lake Myat Min has created a wellness programme that covers every aspect of their stay, including holistic therapies, traditional spa treatments, fitness coaching and a nutrition-focused diet.

Guests will receive a pre-arrival wellness consultation, followed by a daily programme of activities including lakeside yoga sessions, meditation classes, spa treatments and morning and evening grounding rituals. Within the resort’s 101 guestrooms and suites, visitors will find an in-room wellness minibar with water, fresh juice, nuts and berries, and exercise essentials including a yoga mat, skipping rope, exercise ball and weights.

Healthy dining is a staple of Roots Signature Restaurant, where chef Aung Kyaw Swar uses organic produce from surrounding farms and the resort’s own organic hydroponic garden to create healthy and nutritious menus. The Wellness Discovery package starts from US $180 per person per night for a minimum of two nights.
