Located in the North Ari Atoll, W Maldives has reopened following a multimillion-dollar renovation. The resort’s 77 villas have been completely redesigned by the Miaja Design Group, drawing inspiration from the Maldives’ natural beauty.

New accommodations include Supreme Overwater Two-Bedroom Villas and Oasis Overwater Two-Bedroom Villas, offering expansive living spaces and private pools for larger groups. Additionally, two Oasis Two-Bedroom Beach Villas now feature waterslides connecting the second floor to the private pool.

The resort’s culinary offerings have been revitalised, with the overwater restaurant FISH serving fresh, locally sourced seafood, and FIRE providing an elevated grill experience on the beach. SIP, the open-air overwater bar, offers panoramic sunset views alongside inventive cocktails and Nikkei-inspired cuisine.

Guests can engage in activities such as snorkeling along the house reef, diving excursions aboard the resort’s yacht Escape, and private island experiences on Gaathafushi. The AWAY Spa offers overwater treatment rooms for relaxation and rejuvenation.

This transformation aligns with W Hotels’ global rebranding initiative, aiming to blend contemporary luxury with authentic cultural experiences, and reaffirms W Maldives’ position as a leader in luxury hospitality in the region.
